I am Sam, the new owner of Inklings and the Kraken. I've been fortunate enough to have been offered to purchase Inklings and the Kraken from the previous owner, Jodie in November 2025.

A little bit about me, some of you may know me from my bag making enterprises. I do also have a youtube channel under Made by Erillant where I have bagmaking tutorials as well as lives & talk about all things bag making. I was also awarded First place for Bag Making in the Sydney Royal Easter Show 2025 as well as the winner for the Central Coast Local Business Award 2025 for the Arts & Antique category.

Personally, I'm a mixed race Aussie, my Father is Australian & my mother is Hong Kong Chinese & we grew up between Hong Kong & Australia. I am from the Central Coast in NSW (Terrigal High School graduate) with a brief hiatus where I went to University in Armidale & also another hiatus where I moved to Scotland for an early midlife crisis where I fell in love with my partner, Charlie (and eventually fell pregnant after years of infertility). I am a Mama bear to 2 (mostly) adorable children, Cian & Savannah, who are currently 3 & 5.
